This is what I’m working on since  October 2010.

Surface Asia is a sibling publication to the original New York-based Surface magazine that’s been celebrating and encouraging the world’s most forward-thinking artists and designers for the last 15 years. Now, Surface Asia is doing the same for the pioneers, provocateurs, groundbreakers and innovators in fashion, design, architecture, art and culture across the dynamic Asia-Pacific region, from Hong Kong and Macau in the north, through Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines, right down to Australia and New Zealand. I hate hippies! I mean, the way they always talk about ‘protectin’ the earth’ and then drive around in cars that get poor gas mileage and wear those stupid bracelets – I hate ‘em! I wanna kick ‘em in the nuts!

Print ad yang ini sedikit personal. Hahah.

Quotes di atas sangat menggambarkan bagaimana gue memandang hippie. Hahaha. Well, I love 60′s music, tapi budaya hippie cukup konyol, at least for me. Maka itu gue membuat parodi dari poster Woodstock tahun 69 sebagai simbol dari kultur mereka dengan mencoret muka si “burung perdamaian” (pffft…) dan membuat si burung mengeluarkan tai dari pantatnya. Yeah, they had “peace, love and music” for 3 days and then what?
